Version 1.4 Patch

To install this patch you must have version 1.1 or later of London Control. This patch will not update any earlier version. To check which version you have, open the Help | About window when you are running London Control (press <Alt> <H> <A>).

The patch will download as a zip file containing the patch setup program.

Save the zip file to your disk, open it and then either run Patch14.exe from there, or save it to the Temp directory and run it from there.

This patch includes the following new features:

• The voice recognition function has been incorporated into the main software. It is no longer necessary to install the separate LCVoice program to use voice recognition.
• The Runway Menu can be opened for the selected flight by pressing the 'W' key.
• A 'Flight Following' function has been included (ALT D L) which makes the situation display centre on the selected flight.
• It is now possible to select ground speed as permanently displayed in the labels of controlled aircraft.
• The CFL/NFL, navigation and speed fields can be deselected from the label.
• All maps for the controlled sectors are now displayed, instead of the previous restriction of just two.
• It is now possible to align the situation display on magnetic north.

This patch also updates the User Guide pdf file with the latest version (this can be found in the Help folder of your London Control installation). Note, however, that the run-time help information has not been changed.
